POP Star Reading Program, Sept-May

Volunteer in Harlingen and San Benito one hour a month at our POP Star Reading Program. The POP STAR programs is held during the school year, September through May. POP Star is a favorite volunteer opportunity of many business offices and community leaders in our community. Stuff the Bus, August

United Way is committed to helping children and youth achieve their potential! You can help by collecting school supplies at your place of business or donatin at one of our drop off sites. After donations are collected we need volunteers to sort the supples for our local school districts. Supplies are distributed to Harlingen, San Benito, La Feria, Santa Rosa, Rio Hondo and Willacy County School Districts.

Call the United Way office to schedule a 5 to 10 minute presentation for employees. Give them the opportunity to GIVE BACK to their community through payroll deduction.

Training for the VITA Program (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance)
